1. How to Export Data from Gadgetbridge
To import your activity and health data into this app, you first need to configure Gadgetbridge to automatically export its database file.
Step 1: Set the Export Location
This tells Gadgetbridge where to save the file.
- Open Gadgetbridge.
- Tap the three horizontal lines (☰) in the top-left.
- Go to Settings > Automations.
- Tap Export Location.
- Choose a folder (e.g., Documents or Downloads).
Step 2: Enable Automatic Export
- In the Automations menu, check the box for Auto export enabled.
Step 3: Run the First Export (Required for First Use)
- Go back to the main menu (☰).
- Tap on Data management.
- Tap Run AutoExport Now.
- This creates the gadgetbridge.db file for import.
